I might argue there's one more roman numeral to add: Weakening Democracy. Trump's scramble to consolidate power and his anti-democratic moves are starting to be noticed by folks who don't tend to notice or care about such things. And as all the other fractures widen, I believe more and more non-sycophants will wake up to the threat he poses.

Always enjoy your well thought out take on the current situation but we have faith that our President will respond in the new year to the dark and bleak outlook that has biased some to the public by the 24/7 negative coverage that has been thrown at our President. Twelve months is a life time in politics and while the Democrats are held together by unbridled hate for President Trump and America, we have an opportunity to continue the great work that has been done over the last 12 months by supercharging the efforts over the next twelve months, from continuing to cut regulation, freeing up capital, reducing the federal work force by fifty percent, and abolishing all the inefficient and wasteful departments. So much to do and so little time to do it. However we know our Presidents team is up to the challenge. Best and love your tryce weekly show on The Spotify, just wish your you tube videos were more timely posted, and you video editor really don’t know how to insert the commercial brakes as sometimes they pop in when you are mid-sentence . Excellent observations, as always! What worries me the most is what almost certainly appears to be an impending AI/subprime crash. There have been in-depth analyses of late by financial and industry analysts who outline how private credit once again is bankrolling what turn out to be bad loans. While data center loans aren't the same as a subprime mortgage, there appears to be the same slice-and-dice and repackage, and over-valuation going on. When you add in ludicrous pay packages ala $1T for Musk, it feels like we are on the cusp of something awful.

As for Trump supporters, I fear that only something as bad as what many economists fear is on the horizon actually happens. God help us all, if it does.

I hope you’re right, Chuck. Every reality distortion field wears off eventually, but this one is on another level in terms of severity and impenetrability. Speaking as a former R who got to a point where I couldn’t take it anymore: the Rs need to go through a very long, very dark night of the soul after this.
